Privacy Policy
Last updated October 25, 2026.
This policy explains what information HeyAlbert ("we", "us") collects about visitors to this website and customers of our service, how we use it, and how people who appear in our data can review, correct or remove information about themselves.
Information we collect from visitors and customers
When you contact us or start a trial, we collect what you give us: typically your name, work email, organization and intended use case. When you subscribe, payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never store your credit card information. Our Refund Policy explains billing and refunds.
This website uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies, to measure which pages visitors use and how they find us (for example pages viewed, approximate location and device type). We do not send your name or email to Google Analytics or use it for advertising, and you can opt out with Google's opt-out browser add-on. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability.
How we use it
- To respond to you and to review and confirm trial requests
- To provide, secure and support the service
- To bill for subscriptions and add-ons
- To comply with law
We do not sell information about our visitors or customers.
Information in the HeyAlbert service
HeyAlbert compiles information about adults from public sources, such as SEC filings, nonprofit filings, company websites, reputable news, public social media profiles and other publicly available records. Every fact is linked to its source, in line with our principles. We do not knowingly include information about minors.
Contact details, such as physical address and email, are shown only where available and permitted under applicable state rules.
Your choices and rights
If you appear in HeyAlbert, you can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or remove it by emailing albert@heyalbert.site. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws (for example, California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut or Texas law), including the right to know, delete and correct, and to opt out of sale or sharing. We will respond within the time the applicable law requires and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Sharing
We share information with service providers that help us run HeyAlbert (such as hosting, email and payments) under contracts that limit their use of it, with our customers as part of the service described above, and where required by law.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls.
Retention
We keep customer information for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, tax and accounting purposes. Our Data Retention Policy sets out, category by category, what we keep, for how long and how deletion works, including for people who appear in HeyAlbert.
Changes and contact
We will post updates to this policy on this page. Use of the service is governed by our Terms of Service. Questions: albert@heyalbert.site.
