The Indian-American Wealth Report 2026
Cited data on Indian-American families worth $25M+: where they live, how the wealth was made, and what it means for advisors.
A first look
Three numbers from our data
- 5,831Indian-origin individuals in the US we estimate at $25M+ in net worth (a HeyAlbert estimate), out of 69,650 in our database.
- 40.5%of $25M+ profiles are in technology and biotech, the most common industry (where industry is known).
- 30.4%of $25M+ profiles are in California, followed by New York and Texas at 14.4% each (where state is known).
Source: HeyAlbert analysis. Origin is inferred from names; wealth bands are HeyAlbert estimates built from public filings and records. Shares exclude unknowns, groups under 10 people are suppressed, and coverage varies by source, so treat figures as indicative rather than a census. See our methodology.
